JPG Magazine

Katie is one of my favorite models. We have collaborated on a lot of images in the past. I think she deserves to be published. We did this shoot on Sunday.

What do you think? Cast your vote, and help her get published in JPG magazine!

Posters and Art Prints

I now have posters and art prints available from Zazzle.com. You can select from a range of styles and finishes, from small posters to huge canvas prints. Check it out!

Buddha Posters

I didn't have a model today, but I wanted to shoot, so I took selections from the Dhammapada, and illustrated them with photographs. Enjoy:

Joy

With a quiet mind,
come into that empty house; your heart,
and feel the joy of the way
beyond the world.

Look Within

Look within --
the rising and the falling.
What happiness!
How sweet to be free!

Awaken

By your own efforts,
waken yourself, watch yourself,
and live joyfully.

Shine

However young,
the seeker who sets out upon the way
shines bright over the world.

Like the moon,
come out from behind the clouds!
Shine.

One

Beyond the sorrow of hell,
Beyond the great joy of heaven,
By virtue of his purity,

He has come to the end of the way.

All that he had to do, he has done.

And now he is One.

Photo Book Project

Around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2007, Marty Kasteler and his wife Nicki Kasteler were heading home on their bicycles from a friends house. While riding home a delivery van started to run them off the road. Marty slapped on the side of the delivery van to alert the driver that there were cyclists on the street. Instead of yielding, the delivery truck driver turned around and deliberately ran Marty down. The van jumped the curb at a church parking lot, went over the sidewalk and through a guard rail. The driver then fled, leaving Marty for dead. Fortunately his wife was with him and able to call for help, at which point he was rushed to the emergency room in critical condition.

Help Marty is a photo book project documenting some of the events organized to raise money for Marty. The book will be a high-quality, full color, hardbound book and will retail for $60-$70. All proceeds will go to the Marty Kasteler fund.

You can have your photography featured in the Help Marty book! Get to one of the many benefit events, snap some great photos, and submit them to me for inclusion.
